Join Our Fall MBA Cohort: A Personalized Approach to Your Success

At the University of South Alabama, we believe in a more personalized approach to admissions. That's why we don't require GRE or GMAT scores. Instead, we focus on understanding your unique experiences and career goals, so you can start your MBA journey without the stress of standardized testing.

Admission Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in business or any other field from an accredited institution with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Letters of Recommendation: Submit three (3) letters from individuals who can speak to your qualifications and potential.
  • Personal Statement: Share your career aspirations and how the MBA program will help you achieve them.

For International Students: International applicants must meet English language proficiency requirements with a TOEFL score of at least 197 (71) or an IELTS score of 6.0. More details on international admissions.

Tuition Fees

Students enrolled in the Master of Business Administration program are responsible for both tuition and additional program fees. There is a $100 program fee per credit hour, which is applied on top of tuition. For the most current fee schedule and any additional program-related costs, please contact the Director of Graduate Studies in the Mitchell College of Business.

The Mitchell College of Business has a limited number of Graduate Research Assistant opportunities. These positions are a wonderful opportunity to gain research experience, while receiving tuition reimbursement and a stipend. As a condition of the appointment, Graduate Assistants must enroll in at least six credit hours each semester.  Additionally, GA’s are required to work in the department four hours each weekday (9-12 or 1-5) for 20 hours per week.  GAs are not allowed to stack hours or work virtually.
